The same provider, every visit.
Online psychiatric medication management for adults, across Southern California.
Good psychiatric care depends on someone knowing your history.
Medication management isn't a single appointment. It's a series of small adjustments made by someone who remembers what you've tried, how you responded, and what's going on in your life. See a different provider each visit, and that history lives in a chart instead of in a relationship.
At Mind Principles, continuity is the priority. The same provider, consistently, over time — the person who starts your plan is the person adjusting it. That's what makes real rapport possible, and it's what keeps your care private, consistent, and genuinely yours.
Your psychiatric care shouldn't ignore the rest of your health.
Michael is board-certified in both psychiatric-mental health and family practice — a combination that shapes how he treats.
At the start, it helps clarify what's actually going on. Some medical conditions look like depression or anxiety and aren't, and it's worth knowing the difference before starting a medication.
And throughout, your treatment accounts for how you're actually doing — your sleep, your energy, your focus, your appetite and weight. Psychiatric medications affect all of it, and those things affect your mental health right back. Looked at together instead of in separate silos, that's safer, more careful care.
What we treat
Depression
More than low mood. Depression affects sleep, energy, appetite, and concentration, and can make ordinary things feel out of reach.
Anxiety
Worry that doesn't switch off. Anxiety shows up in the body as much as the mind — tension, restlessness, trouble sleeping or focusing.
Bipolar Disorder
Shifts between elevated and low periods affecting mood, energy, sleep, and judgment. Treatment is gradual and depends on knowing your patterns.
PTSD
After a frightening or overwhelming experience, the nervous system can stay on alert — affecting sleep, mood, focus, and how safe things feel.
OCD
Intrusive thoughts that won't settle, and behaviors done to relieve them. Both can take up significant time and be exhausting.
ADHD
Difficulty with attention, follow-through, and organization, usually present since childhood, affecting work, relationships, and daily routines.
Getting started
Everything is online. No commute, no waiting room. You'll need a private space and a device with a camera. We see adults across Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, and Ventura counties.
Most visits are covered by insurance. You can check your coverage and get a cost estimate before you book.
Your first visit is 60 minutes. We'll go through your history and build a plan around what you actually want from treatment — including what to try first, and what to hold off on.
Follow-ups are about 30 minutes, typically every four to eight weeks, adjusted to what you need. Care here isn't medication-only: sleep, exercise, daylight, nutrition, and the therapy that happens in your sessions all matter.
